We invite industry leaders, researchers, and practitioners to submit proposals for the keynote, presentations, case studies, and panel discussions at the 2026 Semantic Layer Symposium in Vienna on Wednesday, 14 October and Thursday, 15 October, 2026.

We welcome contributions from all industries and diverse applications related to:

  • Emerging Trends – the future of semantics, interoperability, and intelligent automation
  • Semantic Layers – practical implementations, methodologies, and innovations
  • Data & Information Management – structuring, governing, and leveraging enterprise data
  • Knowledge Intelligence – AI-driven applications, taxonomies, ontologies, and content architectures
  • Enterprise Applications – real-world use cases from organizations implementing Semantic Layers

Presentation
Formats

We encourage a variety of submission formats, including:

  • Individual presentations (single speaker)
  • Joint presentations (e.g., consultancy-client collaborations, industry partnerships)
  • Panel discussions (moderated discussions with multiple experts)
  • Case studies (real-world applications and lessons learned)
  • Other innovative formats that contribute to the event’s mission

Acceptance Criteria

Submissions will be reviewed based on:

  • Relevance – alignment with the event’s themes and objectives
  • Quality – clarity, structure, and depth of insights provided in the abstract
  • Originality – unique perspectives, novel approaches, or compelling case studies
  • Practical Application – actionable takeaways and real-world impact for attendees
  • Selected speakers will receive complimentary event registration

Additional benefits, including potential travel cost reimbursement, can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
